Gérard Cairaschi, multimedia artist, video artist, photographer and creator of installations, lives and works in Paris. His work has been shown and won prizes in numerous exhibitions and video festivals around the world.
His work questions the image’s cultural dimensions, its codes, its means of representation and its historical status and reference. He shows joyous or solemn images of nature or people, which refer to the history of art, to myth, to religion, to literature, to cinema, to a shared history and to that of the individual.

Francesca Fini

(from Italy)
I'm an Italian artist working with mixed media, video and performance art. My live projects, always addressing social and political issues, are mixed with lo-fi technology, homemade interaction design devices, live audio and video. Primarily interested in video and live art, I also create artworks assembling performance art 'relics' or manipulating video stills.
With a deep training as a digital artist, I worked for 15 years in the field of television authoring and production. In 2000 I met American artist Kristin Jones, who has become a great friend, and we collaborated on the project “Tevereterno”, creating installations for the city of Rome. With Kristin Jones, Kiki Smith and other artists I attended the 2008 River to River Festival in New York, projecting my animation “Moon Loop” on the trees of the Hudson River.
Among the Art events in which I took part in the last few years, I would mention the 2011 WRO Biennale in Poland, ADD Festival at MACRO Museum in Rome, the finals of Laguna International Art Prize in Venice, CINEMED Film Festival in Montpellier, Taormina Film Festival, Berlin Directors Lounge, IKONO TV Film Festival, FILE Electronic Language International Festival in Brazil, FONLAD Digital Art Festival, Cologne Off and Magmart Video Art Festival.
In 2012 I've been invited to the first "Venice International Performance Art Week", curated by VestAndPage, featuring among the others the work of Valie Export, Jan Fabre, Yoko Ono, Boris Nieslony and Hermann Nitsch. In 2013 I won the "FONLAD Performance Art Residency" in Coimbra and was invited in Chicago for the Rapid Pulse International Art Festival.
I am basically a performer. The action of a body, generally mine, in space and time is essential in my work. My videos and my tangible works are the chapters of a never- ending story of which I am the protagonist. Sometimes I meet someone to share the way and sometimes I’m all alone, but in the course of this trip I leave on my way artifacts that become the cornerstones of this great adventure. My body, the ship on which I make this long exploration, has always been a battlefield. Former anorexic, eternal feminist, still and always a lone wolf in search of the moon between the branches of the trees.

Francesca Llopis

(from Spain)
Born in Barcelona she has been exhibiting her work since 1981 when her career began. At that time painting was highly regarded in the art scene and her research in this area is motivated from the need to explore other media. Drawing, painting, video and performance have been integrated in a work in progress which has counted with collaborations such as that of the composer Barbara Held. In the same way painting has been the centre of her work, the city has been the central motive, under different forms. The labyrinth for example, is used as a metaphor of the city suggesting another meaning of space: the cavity. This no place is identified as the image of her own identity in which she tries to avoid the ambiguous. In 2002 she made her first video installation titled 2 rooms with conference in the Centro de Arte Santa Mónica (Barcelona). She has since been working in this area, although she has never abandoned neither photography nor painting.
It is raining in my mind(2004) and the corresponding images. She has always shown a special interest in seducing her public by creating an imaginary landscape whereby she tries to captivate the spectator in a sort of symbolic web in space. Her artistic proposal should be seen from a poetic perspective. She has received several awards from local institutions and has been able to carry out international projects such as the ones that took place in Yemen, Island, Poland, England, The United States, Italy, Germany and Japan.
