Marija Barkiđija was born in 1974 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. She ended Elementary school and Mathematical gymnasium in Dubrovnik, after which she moved to Zagreb, where she finished Mathematical Faculty in Zagreb, graduated and became a graduate Engineer of mathematics, and also a Professor of mathematics and computer science. After that, she enrolled post graduate studies at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and became a Master of Science. Now she lives and works in Zagreb. Since early childhood, she was dealing with the painting. Her favourite techniques are oil on canvas, tempera, and acrylic and in the latest time she makes sculptures and computer graphics. She is member of DART and ULSZ. She had 6 solo and about 30 group exhibitions.
