Zmago Lenárdič is an important slovene contemporary artist - painter and visual artist, Professor at the Academy for Visual Art in Ljubljana. His work spanes nearly three decades.He works in the field of painting, spatial installations, videos and video installations. As an olways critical and insightful observer of reality, its every day aspects, representations, and theoretical interpretations, Zmago Lenárdič has incorporated in his creative practice his awerness of the changes in perception and his reflections on the status of the (painterly) image, » socialized« in the broad range of visual culture.
