Caterina Rombolà, alias Kate Varrey, born in 1986 in Milan, Italy. She studied Graphics at the Academy of fine arts of Brera, where she graduatet in 2009. She’s currently doing studies for the specialization in printmaking.

From 2009 she worked at Music Action Xperience as a trainer of painting at team building events and corporate training.
She also collaborates with The Imaginary Beings collective from November 2011, which travels around the world to connect, create and inspire, partecipating in events and art shows in Uk and Portugal.
Visionary and sharp witted, Kate Varrey denounces the madness of our time revealings each sinful aspect of modern life. Her art shows a threatening reaity, grotesque, sometimes fantastic but nonetheless real. She investigates the hidden aspects of human nature and of society, focusing especially on the subtler and imperceptible mechanisms of destruction, those aspects of reality that we often dont's see because have now become such part of our daily life.
Engraving, printmaking and video arts are three companions through which she strives to overpass the solely contemplative aspect of art, making of her visions a personal social battle.
