ELVIRA PALAZUELOS (Madrid, 1984). Visual Artist. She graduated in Fine Arts in the University of the Basque Country and she studied a Master in Art, Research and Creation in the Complutense University of Madrid. She has continued her education at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris and in the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her work focus on drawing, painting and new technologies. She is interested in mixed media languages related to contemporary culture. Her pieces has been shown in Art Centres such as BilbaoArte or MUSAC, among others.
EMILIO LIZCANO (Burgos, 1980). Musician and Visual Artist. He studied in the Art School of Burgos and in Microfusa Sound School of Barcelona. He has developed an outstanding career in music and audiovisual creation. He is interested in cross-disciplinary projects and he has worked in collaboration with professionals from different fields, such Mix&Dance company, Cal y Canto Drama company or Marcos Mesa and Santiago Cartujo film-makers. Besides, he is an author, compositor, singer and musician in Entertainiment music band, a personal project that he leads with his brother, Luis Lizcano.
Elvira Palazuelos & Emilio Lizcano work together as a collective since 2010. They focus on social and relational dimensions of contemporary images and they produce video pieces in which music and sounds gain special relevance. Their work has been shown in Art Centres such as La Casa Encendida in Madrid or CCCB in Barcelona and they have participated in international exhibitions such as MADATAC 05 in Madrid, Under the Subway Videoart Night 2013 in New York or Region 0, the II Latino Video Art Festival of New York.
