FILIP RUTKOWSKI

[born in Poland, lives in: Katowice/Brussels/Berlin]
Studied History of Art in Berlin and Katowice. Co-founder of OZON Art Group and OZON International Video Art Festival in Katowice, Poland. His first curatorial project was realized at Magneet Festival in Amsterdam, where he asked 100 people to make his portrait. The goal was to restore the role of a curator, as a translator between art and audience. He perceives contemporary art especially as a way of communication. His art historian practice concentrates on erasing the border between producers and audience of art.
